GIM Appoints George Wild as Director of Research

GOLEZER INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF GEORGE WILD AS DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH

With thirty years of financial and investment management experience, George Wild has joined Goelzer Investment Management, Inc. as Director of Research. He will also serve on the Investment Policy Committee of the 41-year investment company.

Prior to joining Goelzer, Wild was a Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor at JP Morgan Private Wealth Management where he was actively working with assets valued at over $500 million. During this period, Wild’s responsibilities included portfolio management, business development, special speaking engagements, and client education.

Subsequent to his tenure with JP Morgan, Wild was an Income Partner at Heartland Capital Fifth Third where he served as the Director of Research. Heartland had an active investment style with over $2 billion of assets under management. Wild was responsible for investment selection, diversification, monitoring trends and developing models for stock selection and investment analysis.

Born and raised in Crown Point, Indiana, George graduated Salutatorian from Crown Point High School then earned an Honors Degree in Economics (BA) from Indiana University. He was awarded a Phi Beta Kappa membership and then pursued an MBA in Finance from Indiana University in 1977.

Wild, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), is also a member of the CFA Institute as well as a member of the CFA Society of Indianapolis. He has served on the board of Northview Christian Life, as Soccer Commissioner at Carmel Dad’s Club, and been active in the Crossroads Officials Association. The father of eight remarkable children, he has little leisure time to pursue other hobbies or interests.
