We believe that small and mid cap companies can offer the opportunity for significant growth and superior returns owing to their smaller starting revenue and asset base relative to large capitalization stocks.  Additionally, small and mid cap equities can contribute to overall portfolio diversification as their performance patterns can differ over time from those of large capitalization stocks.  Goelzer’s research and portfolio management team identifies the most attractive sectors within the small and mid cap markets. We then determine an appropriate investment weighting for each utilizing select mutual funds and/or exchange-traded funds.
